We took a superior queen room and it had heating and a DVD player. Also, we could visit an antique store, it was 20 minutes' drive away. The breakfast was tasty and offered a good choice of items.
Sincerely, it was a great stay. I liked that there was a bathtub. Located in the middle of the city.
We loved it, especially its rooms and cleanliness. It is in the centre of the city. There was delightful food. Attractive and competitive value for money, gorgeous hotel.
Waited over 1 hour for dinner and the steak meal was basic and chips awful. Dirty towels and broken kettle left outside our door from the previous day. Bar service slow.
Central position ideal for browsing the Antique shops etc., Tetbury an interesting small town. Snooty Fox very comfortable and relaxing. Our Room very spacious which we liked and even though the Hotel is on the busy cross roads the noise of the traffic was non existent. We slept well in the vast bed. Loved the welcome tray which was well stocked with bottle water and Filter Coffee as an added bonus. Also the good quality toiletries such a bonus. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Everyone very helpful. Also a refreshing change the shopkeepers in Tetbury all friendly and welcoming without being pushy. Do go and stay at the Snooty Fox very good value for money. Loved the Great Dane.
Need more staff on the Bar kept waiting, more than once, other people left soooooooo you are loosing money. Good beer though.
Everythnig was at your finger tips.
I stayed 1 night at the Hotel and had a lovely time. The staff were friendly and professional, food was very good and the locaction was excellent. I liked the little touches in the room (Fresh milk avaliable for my tea, tv magazine and top ten things to do in the area).
Great location, very friendly staff, brilliant food and in a great town.
No car parking. Huge room but would benefit from rejigging to relocate the bed as this restricts use of wardrobes and access around the bed.
good atmospere,good food,friendly staff
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Snooty Fox. We booked a Superior room. All the staff were cheerful and did a good job and the food was good.
We were disappointed that we had an internal room with very little daylight and next to the internal courtyard. All the windows were opaque so could not see out. The bath had a bad chip on the front edge and think this should have been repaired. We know that we had been allocated a better room and it had been changed at the last minute. Another couple told us the night before we left...too late to do anything. The other Superior room was much better...we saw it. I had joined the news letter for the hotel group and have yet to receive a £10 voucher discount for meals...now too late.
Interesting domestic architecture. Young, friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant and excellent, varied breakfast menu.
Minor quibbles; the shower was not elderly-friendly - no grab rail and no anti-slip mat. Also no tissues supplied.
All staff were welcoming and always verp polite.
Checking in. Had to wait in bar to speak to someone aprrox 10mins was exstremally busy as wedding going on
Character, feels like an institution, friendly huge Great Dane
Duvet was more like a sheet with lumps in Shower was just a trickle Some room fitments were very dusty Parking - hotel should have a deal with the carpark at the back - not great to have to get up at 7.30 to go and pay for 8.0 am start of charging period
Very welcoming, friendly atmosphere and comfortable with good food.
A beautiful hotel, helpful and cheerful staff, lovely comfy beds, excellent choices for breakfast, good location as we were visiting Westonbirt Arboretum for the autumn colours and photography
Unfortunately, they did not have a lift or chairlift, and I had my 96 year old mother with me. The 20 steps up to the bedrooms were not steep, but a chairlift would have been so much easier for her. I had forgotten to ask about disabled access when I booked the hotel, so not blaming the hotel but with the Disability Discrimination Act in force, I would think it a good thing to install a chairlift.
